Money Management and Financial Responsibility

Prerequisite: Algebra I 

 

Course Description: This one-semester course will reinforce general mathematics topics (such as arithmetic using rational numbers, measurement, ratio and proportion, and basic statistics) and apply these skills to consumer problems and situations like budgeting, taxation, credit, banking services, insurance, buying and selling products and services, home and/or car ownership and rental, managing personal income, and investment.  Must have passed Algebra 1 to take this course.

*This course also meets the state-required "Financial Literacy" requirement
