Peak Performance (Hybrid)

Prerequisite: 1 semester of Strength & Conditioning, Out for 2 or more sports, or instructor approval.

Course Description: Peak Performance serves Boone High School's in-season athletes and/or student-athletes that cannot fit Advanced Strength into their schedule. For in-season students, this is considered a maintenance program that will keep the condition at a peak level while still competing regularly. Students will acquire knowledge and skill in the strength training, agility, plyometric,s and flexibility training techniques of today. Students will set goals for improvement in muscular strength exercises front squat, hang cleans, and bench press. Students will also set goals for improvement in the vertical jump, pro agility, and 40-yard dash.

*In order to receive a full credit, students must be enrolled for both semesters.
