Course Description: This course is designed to introduce students to the care, management, and science of companion animals - dogs, cats, horses, and other small animal species. It will provide students with skills and concepts in the areas of breeds, anatomy, feeding and nutrition, shelter, grooming, diseases, and general animal care.
