Conceptual Chemistry

Grades: 11th / 12th

Prerequisite: Physical Science or Biology 

Course Description: This course presents chemical concepts through topics surrounding work, home society, and the environment. It addresses issues of problem-solving, decision-making, and laboratory investigation using minimal mathematics. Topics covered include atomic structure, states of matter, periodic trends, chemical bonding, chemical nomenclature, and chemical reactions.
