Pre Calculus II

Prerequisite: Pre Calculus I

 

Course Description: This is a one-semester course that includes the topics of precalculus and Trigonometry to prepare for calculus.  Students who pass precalculus 1 and do not feel ready for calculus, should take this course to further prepare for calculus and round out their learning with more advanced trigonometry.  Topics include trigonometry, including solving triangles, trigonometric graphs, identities, vectors, systems of equations and inequalities, matrices and determinants, sequences, series, probability, and topics in analytic geometry.  Students taking this course should have scored an average of 2.5 on pre-calc 1 standards.
