Course Description: This course will study American Government to establish how students can best fulfill their responsibilities as citizens living in a democracy. Course highlights will include a study of the three branches of government, what influences voters and their behavior, and activities of interest groups and political parties. The course will extend and reinforce with each student the underlying principles upon which, American Government is based: limited government, federalism, rules of law, and individual rights.
