Financial Literacy

Course Description: Financial Literacy is a required semester course for all graduating seniors. This course will expand the knowledge and enhance the skills that will help evaluate financial situations and options to put money to the best use. These life skills will help prepare students for living on their own, setting goals, making decisions, managing credit, and creating a budget. Students will also dive into the world of retirement and investing for wealth management purposes. Students will use a variety of resource materials, technology, websites, and individual research to enhance the process.

*College credit is available from the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) upon successfully passing the final exam
