Peer Art

Fall and Spring

9th - 12th Grade Students

Students will assist special needs peers to actively engage in art activities that involve fine and gross motor skills.  Students will help peers with basic art technique and social skills including working as a team and communicating.  Both peers and students will develop high order thinking and problem solving skills.  This holistic approach to learning will create a better understanding of the needs of others in the school community.  This class requires a caring and patient heart, on demand flexibility and energetic willingness to collaborate.

Students will be able to enroll in this class through an application process.
