Art Appreciation

9th - 12th Grade Students

Art Appreciation is a general introduction to the visual arts, media, techniques, and history. The course is designed to create a deeper appreciation of the creative processes involved in the visual arts.  This course will focus mainly on art and its relationship to history and cultures.  Students should know that this will be more of a traditional school class and will not involve as much “hands on” art making.
