English 3

Prerequisites:  English 2A and 2B

English 3A focuses on composition. It includes the in-depth study of grammar, writing genres, and research. Students will address contemporary issues through written projects and debates. 

English 3B focuses on American literature. Students gain an understanding of American heritage and contemporary issues through reading and analyzing American nonfiction texts, short stories, novels, and poetry.
