Computer Integrated Manufacturing

Grades: 11th / 12th

Prerequistes: Intro to Engineering Design and Principles of Engineering Design.  

Course Description:  This is a course within the PLTW (Project Lead The Way) Engineering Curriculum. Students discover and explore manufacturing processes, product design, robotics, and automation, and then they apply what they have learned to design solutions for real-world manufacturing problems.

Basic Electricity

Grades: 9th / 10th / 11th / 12th

Prerequisite: Intro to Construction/Building Trades

Course Description:  Students will learn the basics of electrical safety, theory, electrical mathematics, circuits, and uses.  Students will also learn basic construction, function, and application of circuits in residential and commercial settings, and how all of this applies to the 21st century STEM career fields options.

 

DMACC Principles of Engineering

Grades: 10th / 11th / 12th

Prerequisites: DMACC Intro to Engineering Design. Completion of Algebra I and concurrent enrollment in Geometry or teacher approval.

Considerations: Students will need to purchase an Engineering Notebook (Composition – Quad Ruled), and a 1 1/5” 3-Ring Binder. Binder Slip Covers for paper is optional.
