Ceramics II

Grades: 10th / 11th / 12th

Prerequisite: Ceramics I

Course Description: This class is designed for students who have learned the basics of ceramics and are ready to start more advanced techniques in clay. Basic hand building techniques and wheel experience are required for this class, as this class expands on those skills including but not limited to sgraffito, etching, burnishing, slip trailing, and wheel throwing. Well thought out forms, designs, and good craftsmanship are emphasized.
