2D Mixed Media

Grades: 9th / 10th / 11th / 12th Grade

Prerequisite: Intro to 2D/3D Art

Course Description: The term “mixed media” in art is a broad definition that covers many arts and crafts including collage, assemblage, altered objects (like books and boxes), art journaling, and book making.  In this class students will explore many of these projects using non traditional supplies.  Some examples include fabrics, found objects, photos, metal, fibers, items from nature, and of course pencils, inks, crayons, markers, and pastels.
