Course Description: Students will investigate the development of global civilizations from the Renaissance to the modern era. Following the 2026 Iowa Standards, students will analyze global interactions, political revolutions, and the evolution of social structures. This course emphasizes disciplinary literacy—learning to think like historians and geographers to evaluate evidence and construct arguments about world events.
