DMACC Intro to Literature

The college-level course offers an introduction to the study of poetry, fiction, and drama, emphasizing college-level literary analysis, analytical writing, interpretation, and basic critical approaches. Students will read a range of authors that span cultural and ethnic groups across history and explore concepts like character, setting, structure, perspective, figurative language, and literary analysis in the context of literary works.
